Of course you are going on the boat for Redentore on saturday july 14th, from 18 pm to 01 am. (The fireworks will start at 23h30 this year).

But the rest of the week-end? It's summertime, bring your bathing suit.

I would suggest the following:

FRIDAY:

- Ballad in Venice/ Visit what you have to visit when you wanted to come: museums, walking ballads..

- Lunch at Trattoria della Vignole (on Vignole island).

- Take your bathing suit and visit the islands! from 17h to 19h. Wether it be the Lido beaches (flee from San Marco in 20 minutes to Lido's Santa Maria Elisabetta vaporetto stop). From there walk 8 minutes straight to the public beach on the 'Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta', take a dive and get back on vaporetto when you are dry. Yes Venice is cool.

- Aperitivo time 19h-20h. Prefer Rialto mercato, or Campo San Margherita.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY:

The Redentore movable bridge is for 2 days only linking Giudecca island, so go on Zattere and reach the Redentore church by foot.
